Frank Anthony was born in Hollywood, CA in 1975 and I've lived in Southern California ever since. I grew up in Pasadena, CA and now reside in West Covina, CA about 12 miles East of Pasadena. I am 5'10" 190-200lbs. I came out of the whom big at a whopping 10lbs 11oz. As a child I was usually the biggest (actually I was husky) in the group but it wasn't until I got to high school that I realized the potential my body had. That is when I discovered the weight room at school.

Growing up I had always looked up to guys such as Arnold, Van Dam, and others in Hollywood as well as some professional athletes that had incredible physiques thinking that I would love to look the way they do. As my knowledge on fitness and exercise grew, so did I and I was able to transform my body from the husky kid to a harder more muscular young man. That transformation had an impact on so many aspects of my life. It made me a better baseball player, gave me more confidence, and got me a lot more attention (nothing wrong w/ a little attention LOL). I have been hitting the iron ever since.

It wasn't until I turned 30 that I decided to compete in amateur bodybuilding. It was something I always wanted to do but never really knew how to start until I joined World Gym in West Covina where I now live. There I met several NPC competitors that were more than happy to show me the ropes. Now it is a lifestyle both my wife of 5 years and I enjoy living.

Outside of the gym I enjoy playing piano, going to the shooting range, taking my Dobermans to the dog park, snowboarding, going to the chiropractor, and most of all doing any of the above with my partner in crime, my wife Suzy.

I have been in the Real Estate business since 2003 and am now going through the process of becoming a Fire Fighter for the City of Los Angeles. Being a Fire Fighter was one of those childhood fantasies that I am now trying to make a reality.

I shot with John Mitchell for my first and, so far, only session. We first went to the famous Venice Beach in Southern California and ended up in Point Dume just outside Zuma Beach. Being my first time with no experience in front of a camera could have been a disaster. John made me feel like I had been doing it for years. His ability to communicate his direction and ideas was second to none. It opened my eyes to a whole new realm of the fitness world that I am excited to explore. I look forward to shooting with John again at different locations throughout the states seeing what we can come up with.
